Wayne Farhood
E. Wayne Farhood B.A., LL.B.
Born in Montreal, Quebec, and raised in Windsor, Ontario, Wayne Farhood received his Bachelor of Arts Degree (Econ.) from the University of Windsor in 1969 and his Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Windsor in 1972. Wayne came to live in the Kitchener-Waterloo area in 1972 where he articled for the (then) firm of Clement, Eastman, Dreger, Martin & Meunier. He completed the Bar Admission course at Osgoode Hall (Toronto) and was called to the Bar of Ontario in March, 1974. Wayne's areas of practice include real estate, corporate and commercial law, estate planning and employment law.
A longtime member of the KW community, Wayne is involved in a number of community and legal organizations. He is Past President and a current Director if Gyro International; a former Director of the Kiwanis Club of Waterloo North, a member of the Waterloo-Wellington Estate Planning Council, the KW Businessmen's Association and Estate Practitioners of Waterloo Region; as well as a Trustee of the Waterloo Law Association and a member of both the Ontario and Canadian Bar Associations. Always a strong community contributor, Wayne also enjoys a good game of golf and can often be found on the links in support of many local fundraisers.
